Late war (1944-1945)

Late War, 1944-45, sees the tide turn as Allied forces hit the beaches of France in June 1944, having already landed in Italy in 1943, whilst Soviet forces launch Operation Bagration, pushing the Germans back in to Poland.

A German offensive in the west, known as the Battle of the Bulge, throws the Allies into confusion but they continue to advance and tighten their grip on Germany...
